About the GNM Course

GNM (General Nursing & Midwifery)

The GNM (General Nursing & Midwifery) program is a diploma-level course designed to prepare students for professional nursing roles in hospitals and healthcare institutions. The program emphasizes clinical skills, patient care, and practical exposure across various medical departments.

Through a balanced approach of theoretical learning and hands-on training, students develop the competence and confidence required to work in diverse healthcare settings.

Duration

The GNM course is of 3 years, followed by 6 months of internship, as per nursing council guidelines.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board

  • Science background preferred (as per applicable norms)

  • Age and eligibility as prescribed by the nursing council
